Trabzonspor are set to activate a £2million clause to sign Caleb Ekuban permanently. He was signed for a reported £500k, not a bad profit for such a disappointing player.

I’ve read reports suggesting they’re buying him to sell on for much more he’s been that decent for them.

He is a good player and will develop, ppl write him off after last season where he had a serious foot injury.

It was the one on ones which were really frustrating for me. But he had loads/made loads for himself. But I would have been happy to see how he got on for another season, I think he just about showed enough.

Phillips said he scored for fun in training.

If we get £2m its good business and more than we will get for Saiz imo.

Did he? The contact I spoke to said he couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo in training either.
His general play looked decent to me but he had no composure. Could that improve? I guess it could and maybe it has. If he’d shown sufficient potential you’d like to think bielsa would have kept him

Maybe a bit harsh. I agree with some of the posts that there looked like a player in there. Made some great runs, worked hard. But to sell a striker who scored 1 league goal for a £1.5million profit is good business.
Wouldn't have been the worst option from the bench this season but Bielsa decided he didn't think he was good enough

Being able to run in behind is an absolutely useless ability when your finishing is as poor as his was for us. Wish him well for the future, but he is a League One player at best in these leagues.

Good business, I always liked him but to get 2m is a miracle
