I was thinking exactly the same about Martin Tyler, such a miserable git. Was ecstatic when Newcastle equalised and clearly devastated when Origi got the winner. About time he hung his mic up and let someone else have a go.

Tyler is a disgrace to be honest. Will never forget that whole Benteke/Martial thing.

Origi, who would have thought it
Don’t think it will happen but if we somehow win it this guy will go down in folklore.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would achieve icon status along with Biscan and Traore.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How does useless Sturridge get in ahead of match winner Origi?

Origi is good off the bench against tired legs. Not so good at other times.

Not only that, but he is an absolutely AWFUL commentator.
He never describes what's going on in the game and just punctuates his monosyllabic drivel with mindless anecdotes which have no bearing on the 2 teams playing.
Dreadful commentator, the worst of the lot. And that's saying something

He attempts too much ad-hoc scene setting and just sounds like a desperate fool.

I found a mute button years ago.

It's a shame Sky/BT etc don't provide alternative commentaries.
In the old analog days you could simply mute the TV and listen to the radio, but everything is out of sync in the digital world, at least it is for me
