However, Emery has already surpassed last season! As for calling him average etc, he has sort of WON a lot of things you know? Just look at UTd, how many years since Fergie left? And where are they? Adults realise that, after 20 years of ONE man running everything, and leaving a squad of poor players with no direction, it will take a long time before things get a lot better. However, Emery has already surpassed last season! As for calling him average etc, he has sort of WON a lot of things you know? Just look at UTd, how many years since Fergie left? And where are they? Things are improving, you just need some patience. Rome wasn’t built in a day as they say, nor even one season. We could bring in the world’s best manager and we’d have a similar transition season as the players would have to get used to yet another way of doing things.

Thank you for making my original point, it is about the individuals who attack people who have a different opinion that yours. "Emery has already surpassed last season!" What has been accomplished this season that indicates that this club is going anywhere soon? As far as the old Emery mantra: "give him the times that he needs", why don't we just give him ALL the time he needs to START showing progress. Ridiculous! Once again we have certain Gunner fans who can't see the forest for the trees and who get their knickers in a knot when challenged!

As I said, if you act like a child, I will treat you as such. To expect ANY manager to transform such a dross squad into world beaters in one season is the thoughts of a small child. Understand? I can see the wood for the trees ( not a forest,no such saying, pal ) and I do not have my knickers in a twist ( again, no such saying as the one you tried to use). If you want to have a debate with the grown-ups do some research on the drivel you are typing before you post it.As for the 'you are not allowed to criticize Emery on here' cry-babies, you can criticize him all you want, but to call for him gone so soon is moronic,and a waste of time. Emery has put the brakes on the runaway slide downwards,we have more points than last season already,and are still in with a chance of reaching a final. All that with some unlucky injuries as well. If we are in a worse position this time next year,then you can moan,okay?
