From a team that was excellent in the first half of the season the rest is a relative shambles.
It’s easy to pinpoint the key stage, the pathetic transfer window.
Who was to blame ? Bielsa, the club or even quite incredibly some blame Swansea.
As for Bielsa , too many mistakes, a little tweaking was required.
Where has Shackleton been ? Certainly not on the pitch enough.
Generally preferred some journey men to youth which was another poor decision.
Bielsa was brilliant, it certainly didn’t last long enough.
January Until Now A Shambles

We fall away after Christmas’s each season.
We make signings in jam that make little or no impact for that season.
That’s no conincidence.

Well Izzy Brown is going to come and save our season - that was the master stroke strategy all along!

It’s what happens when you try and do things in the cheap Rev.

It doesn't matter how we try to look at it, it's been a disaster not going up automatically. Mistakes have been made, and not many other clubs would have failed the auto's from where we were at Christmas, and fallen to looking like we do now entering the most important games in recent history. I felt really confident they would do it this season, and then the dreaded January struck. At least we got a goalie that is marginally better, and nearly got a good quick player in James, so we could say January wasn't that unproductive....I feel absolutely sick, and only winning the play offs can take that away. And if anyone says to me "well it's been a great season, and I would have taken this in August", I will poke their eyes out.

Marginally better keeper and stuck him on a 5 year deal. Hate to think what wages he is on.
Could of signed better for far less.
The club failed in January it’s that simple.

Did need to sign a keeper in Jan had other positions that needed attention. 1 could argue he was available & may not have gotten him in the summer but for me BPF was doing ok.
Careful what you wish for lads
