Aberdeen 0 v 3 Celtic

8 in a row Champions.

Never take it for granted troops, we have now won 14 league titles since the turn of the millennium. We’re on course for another treble, our 3rd in a row.

If we do achieve another treble then we will have won as many trebles in the last 3 seasons than we have in our existence, that speaks volumes for how tough it is.

The game itself on Saturday probably summed up our season, very pedestrian at times to begin with and we relied on Bain to make a wonderful save to keep us in it, coupled with a few absolute sitters from Aberdeen.

As the game wore on we started to come into it and the first goal is terrific, the ball in and the movement from lustig was good but the header was sublime, perhaps fitting it was one of Lennon’s signings 8 years ago that got us going.

2nd half was much better and we dominated the game, we also somehow, managed to score from a corner a brilliant header from Jozo who again was magnificent and him and Ajer have to be first choice in pre season to see how good it can get. Still need one or two centre half a to come in and challenge them though.

3rd goal was a good finish from Edouard, it was about the only good thing Rogic done all game. It’s embarrassing how long it takes Rogic to get up to speed after injury, truly woeful.

Great scenes at the end and credit where it’s due to Lennon to getting us over the line. It’s not been pretty to watch but that’s 13 games unbeaten under him I think.

Small matter of an OF game on Sunday but with the pressure off and the concern over injuries for the cup final; i’d be resting KT, Edouard and even Forrest until then, maybe play a small part from the bench over the next 2 games.

Would like to see Dembele and Oko-Flex involved against Hearts on trophy day and I suspect they will be.

90 minutes away from another piece of history troops, savour it, these are the days

You know who continues to impress me, Stevie Mallan.

Wonderful passer of a ball, good set piece delivery and loves a tackle. Just lacking pace and height which sometimes shows up in Scottish football.

Honestly wouldn't mind him at Celtic as backup.

Fingers crossed Zach

After a few lean years it looks like we've got a few talented youngsters in the ranks. I'm sure we'll give a route to the first team for anyone who has the chance to make it.
