In the end the team that wins it deserves it whether that is Liverpool or man city. No lucky and unlucky business for either.
The bar is set very high. 100 points to stand a chance to win the title next season

There have been so many dodgy decisions this season and in the past that we'll never know if that's really been the truth. With VAR coming in we should definitely be able to say that whoever comes top deserves it.

I hope VAR will be used consistently for all teams.

I was just about to make a similar point. City and Liverpool have been far and away the best two teams in the league and up there with Barcelona in Europe. However, how many times this season have Liverpool been "gifted" free kicks and penalties by favourable refereeing? There comes a point where "gamesmanship" is just plain cheating and it begins to wear very thin.

Unlucky? They shouldn't even be this close to City. They got gifted at least 4 points through referee fack ups. They are lucky to be in it this long.

Yes, 3 points for a win wasn't introduced until about 35/40 years ago.

Liverpool got exactly what a large proportion of their fans deserved. To lose it, for being too loud, mouthy and arrogant, in their gloating how they had it won, far too early.

Now for the decent Liverpool fans out there, my condolences and great effort, you guys deserved your club finally winning a PL title, all the best for next season.

But for the loudmouth obnoxious troll scourers (some of whom we see on these boards). Well to you guys I say
