The Barca players bumholes started to twitch after we scored the first, then full on shat their collective shorts after the second.

Coutinho you would have thought would have been ready for what was coming. However along with a lot of his team mates they mentally capsized. His Barca career has been a disaster for him. Few players leave this club and better themselves, Suarez being one exception, but he got his last last night too

I lived the fact that it was Suarez complaining about our corner. They dived over two ties, harassed thevref every second, fell over at every tackle and cynically fouled any player that made an attack.

I have zero sympathy for them. Grown men crying like tarts. Messi is an amazing player but he is a little rat on the field.

Players celebrating on the pitch, Barca players have fecked off and there's people on the football live thread saying VAR looking at the corner. the desperation was palpable.

I don't begrudge anyone wanting to Liverpool for Barcelona or Real Madrid - that's the football foodchain, of which we too are guilty (see Southampton).

But the Coutinho one was always strange. At Liverpool, you can be worshipped - almost like a deity whereas at Barcelona, you just happen to play for a team with Messi.

I see similarities with Torres in that although Phil has won silverware since leaving, something tells me both were happier at Anfield (The Pantheon of Football)
