Manager

Sir Alex once said that the manager is the most important man at a football club, that obviously has not been the case at this club since his retirement. There are many other issues at Utd, but in my opinion, this is the main cause of where we are at now as a football club.

Once the board starting sacking managers ie Moyes, LVG, it gives the players a "way out" as such, an excuse, they can float about on their big wages with the knowledge that the club will sack the manager, rather than listen to the manager and replace them for their inept attitude and performance. Mourinho paid this price, and to an extent the fans fell for it too, you would have been hard pushed to find fans at the end of the Mourinho reign who wanted to keep him on as manager, I think we all thought that likes of Pogba, Martial, Sanchez, Rashford would be putting in better performances under a different manager with different ideas and tactics. Boy were we wrong!!!!

Do you think that at City, or Lpool, if Pep or Klopp go to the board and say "we need this or we need that", that they would be told that no, youre wrong...????

The man with the most power at this club is obviously Woodward, he may have his assistants and advisors but it looks like he has the final say on football matters at this club, and until we give our manager full say on the football side of things at this club, I cant see it getting any better any time soon.

I don't think the Glazers are in any way comparable to the Saudis. It's not really toys out of the pram, it's just how I feel, everyone can do as they wish.

They glazers will be comparable to any potential investor when it comes to the motivation of making money

We've no control over who the glazers sell to and if its the Saudis my only concern is that they run the footballing side better than our current owner's are

I don't see why you should turn your back on the club you love over something you've no control over

And when people fear being bought by the ‘Saudi’s’ it’s the fear that it’s the Crown Prince who would be buying it as has been rumoured.

My mate worked on a shoot with Jose the other week, while he was waiting to shoot his bits they told him he could order some food in, whatever he wanted, money no object. He told them to get him a McDonald’s.

Hard to argue with that.

Because they have different values to me. Values that I find abhorent. Including murdering a reporter who criticised them,. Football is a game, I love it, but it's a game. It would be disappointing but not the end of the world.

Fair enough 52 although I remember you recently listing all the previous owners going back to Louis Edwards and detailing all their character flaws and transgressions so to speak.

For me football is a game and an escape from life's reality but I understand where you are coming from
