…..Champions League final at the start of tonight's second half vs Ajax, but I was delighted to be proved wrong! To think we never strengthened our squad at all this season with players joining the club, it's been a rollercoaster of a journey and turbulent most of the time but pleased we've got this far!
If Liverpool play as well as they did vs Barcelona last night, I fear we'll be thrashed in the final! But if we play as well as we did at Anfield a few weeks ago (when we never deserved to lose), and both Son and Lucas Moura are on top form then we can win it! And don't you ******* leave the club Poch, we need you!
I gave Spurs no chance of reaching.....

People can make a million predictions.
They mean nothing in a game of this magnitude.
I think fine margins will decide this one.

Why do people give teams “no chance”? Football has demonstrated time, and time, and time again that there is always a chance and you can take nothing for granted.
I doubted Spurs would make it, they’ve looked knackered, Ajax look fresh and energetic but even so, there was still a chance Spurs would go through, especially before the game as it was only 1-0.
Now, as the game progresses and it goes to 3-0 you think it’s going to be Ajax’s night, but that was during the match not before kick-off.
Similar to Dembele’s chance at the end of Liverpools first leg, I thought when Ziyech pulled that effort wide in the second half it was going to be a crucial moment, he scores that then it is game over IMO.
Anyway, phenomenal night of CL football, and as a fan of the game I’m glad I witnessed both, not just the 90 minutes but the celebrations afterwards. Unbelievable, Jeff.
