Amazing night, still can’t believe it really
Saw Poch presser after and he said again about “close the chapter" why does he keep saying that and why would the end of this season be the end of a chapter?? Maybe he means new stadium now therefore new chapter next season?
Hope he’s not off I really do , but when trippier said Harry gave the team talk at half time and never mentioned Poch, I wonder what’s going on. I’d be gutted to lose Poch, I’ve criticised him at times but never truly wanted him ever to leave
Tonight is a night to enjoy, but I’m actually worried by Poch repeating this chapter stuff and about going home

A chapter is just that, a chapter. He's writing a book!

His original job was to get us into the CL for when ghe stadium is ready.
He obviously did that earlier than expected but now I think he really wants to push on and compete for titles.
So new chapter of spending more and competing for city more closely

Would be a shame if he left but would completely understand if Levy doesn't seriously back the squad during the transfer window.

Mate he has no excuse.. getting to the final is worth £70m of Champions League money.

We shall see over the summer but we would have gained serious additional money reaching the final.
Van De Beek, Wan-Bissaka and quality ST could set us back £100-120m but when you've got that £70m for example and player sales then it's easily doable.
Whether Levy does that or keeps to low net spend and uses money to pay off debt is another issue.
Reaching the final should hopefully get us a bigger stadium sponsor due to the exposure of the club increasing.
As you say, there really isn't an excuse to not spend £100m+ net this summer.

Levy isn't a mug, and if Arsenal win the Europa then I reckon Levy would in a perverse way be more inclined to part with a load of cash to keep Arsenal at arms length from Spurs.

Exactly, they plan things way ahead of time, excuse the pun not on the spur of the moment.

How much of that is actual profit though? All the players and coaching staff will be on juicy performance bonuses; some transfers will have had add-ons triggered. Some wage rises will have to be given.

I think all the signs are there that he is leaving this summer. I’m almost certain of it.
I just get the feeling that he wants a new challenge. Realistically the squad needs rebuilding which is another three or four year timeframe and I don’t think he wants to be here for that long so I think he’ll cut loose this summer.
He knows he’ll leave us in the CL, with the new stadium, with the basis of a new team (but one that is starting to need new ideas) and so he can leave with his head held high.
He’s done his absolute best but I don’t think he has the same motivation now that he did a few seasons ago.
