Approaching play offs

Hard to get excited when we have a keeper who's a liability, defence who get split wide open by the simplest of move's, midfield who couldn't open up a bag of crisps and attack that couldn't hit a cow's backside with a Banjo

Posted this on another article - interesting stats. The team that had the best form the last 10 games has only won the play-off once in the last 5 seasons.

How do you describe the 21 teams that won less points than us then?

We (Leeds fans) are mirroring the players to a degree...no confidence. Derby fans seem to think they have this wrapped up (not sure if that mirrors the players).....but to be honest, the let down of not going up auto I don’t think can be matched, so hopefully we can get a decent result on Saturday and that might perk us all up a bit👍😁

We as Leeds fans are so conditioned to disappointment that we are just waiting for the inevitable now but deep down hoping that for once in our lives we might actually experience the euphoria of a Wembley victory as many of us have never known such a feeling bar the charity shield win over Liverpool in 1992, but usually it has been one big miserable let down after another and to expect anything else is alien to us all.....but even the football gods must look down on us and say okay we've put them through enough brown stuff let's really screw with their heads and give them a glorious moment they will cherish for the rest of their lives. Hope is a good thing, hope is a dangerous thing.

As they say, it's the hope that kills you. Any of you remember 1987. FA cup semi final disappointment followed by playoff heartbreak. Went to all the games, Don't think I've ever recovered

Yes St. Andrews horrible against Charlton. Sheridan superb free kick put us ahead in extra time I think and they scored 2 in the last 10 minutes and coming after losing to Coventry in the cup semi it was just par for the course being a Leeds fan

We're destined to go to Wembley, win and get promoted.

When I booked my holiday for later this month back in October, the only fly in the ointment was us not getting autos and being in the playoffs. When we imploded against Wigan & Brentford, that was my biggest groan - I really didn't want the play offs to be a factor.

So using my logic and the way things have panned out thus far, it's inevitable that we go up via the play offs and it'll be the first match I miss this season, along with all the euphoria and celebrations.

I really hope i'm phished off on holiday watching from a distance, rather than being at Wembley for the biggest game in memory.

it's a clean slate, the season doesn't matter any more. two games against an inferior opponent. we will win both. why not?
