On the 11th January he played against Derby and gave them a torrid time, prior to that he had made a number of star appearances for the U23's. A star in the making, we took solace that despite not landing James from Swansea, at least Jack didn't go anywhere in January.
On the 9th Feb he collapsed after being subbed at half-time.
Since then he's made cameo appearances, Bielsa turns to him in most games when the opposition are tiring and the Jack Clarke circa 11th January would have torn the opposition apart. He's looked a shadow.
On Monday he appeared for about ten minutes and then was gone again.
Is too much being asked of the kid? he's 18 after all.
Has he burnt out, as Bielsa teams always do?
I get the options are limited and it's a case of if not him, who else.
I expect Jack to come on at some point at the weekend but really wonder what would be the point if he is just going to come on and be anonymous.

We don't know. We have the word of two people who have been asked to clarify how they know and what it was and neither have done that.
I trust the club over Jonty on face value.

Wasn’t a virus and doesn’t matter what it was but it sums our luck up, it fact it’s laughable but because he did have a turn it’s an automatic 21 day layoff, certainly won’t happen again

Stop, he does know what it was, as do I, all we're trying to say is it was not viral and so consequently all this talk of how lengthy the recovery could be is completely wide of the mark.
