If we signed Philippe Coutinho?
5 Star - Very Happy
3 star - Meh
1 Star - Really...we're making that mistake again?!?!
How would you feel...

Only if Pogba leaves but I’d be shocked if we signed Coutinho

I would be more underwhelmed than I was when we wasted 89 million on Pogba.

I would, Elvis. Massively is probably the wrong word. But he was often hit or miss. Stop him from shooting and that is most of his game gone.
The fact that Nobb wants him is reason alone for us to steer clear.
I honestly think Liverpool took Barca to the cleaners. They are a much better team without him.
---------------------
He gets almost as many assists as he does goals, so stopping him shooting only takes away half his game. But you can say that if you stop most attacking players from shooting you are taking away a large part of their game. You still have to stop them from shooting.
And yes, Liverpool are a better team without him, but that is because they have invested wisely with the money that the got for him. Its not like him leaving is the only move that has happened in/out of the club.

Really? He is proven PL quality and has a better combined goals/assists ratio per games played than Giggs and Lampard.
I think that you are underrating the guy to be fair. I recall when Liverpool signed him that we had a discussion about him and I was gutted that we had missed out on the lad. I said at the time he would end up at Barca and you were surprised as you didn't think he was good enough. I appreciate that he hasn't had a good season and has been in and out of the team, but I don't think there is any doubting his quality or consistency when he is playing regularly - especially in the PL.

Not a singing I would want at the club. He usually goes missing when the going gets tough. We have many of those already

I am only underaring him in your opinion, Elvis.
I am just calling it as I see it after watching him for Barca, Liverpool and Brazil.
I have a pretty good record on players we should aviod.
We spent 164 million on the last two I said would be players not suited to United.

He is a quality footballer when all is going well. I wouldn't be against adding him to an established team but £100m or so could be put to better use.
We need players who can dictate a game, not flit around the edges but have a good highlight reel.

Not that he's the kind of signing I think we need, but he could play in the same side as Pogba, provided we were playing the diamond every week.
Otherwise you have Pogba in a midfield two or Coutinho out of position.
All besides the point anyway, because it wouldn't make sense as a signing and won't be happening.
