He seemed like a bit of a sad character in the end. Living like a recluse all alone on an apartment complex in spain trying to dodge paying his bills like Roy Munson.

My uncle was friends with a comedian called Pete Price who was also friends with Freddy, they went to visit Fred one day back in the early 80s and as they were driving up his driveway a statue at the side of it exploded,Freddy was sitting on his balcony with a rifle shooting at it, coked out his nut
