Sarri keen to bring back loaned players

This will interest Brummie who has been an advocate for the youth team on this page.

When Sarri was appointed, I wasn't sure what to expect from the team bar the usual rhetorics of how good his Napoli was. Two cup finals and a top four shouldn't be a bad season in his debut season with no Preseason couple with the fact he has to change the philosophy of the players used to pragmatic managers for years.

Having said that, I think he has succeeded in bedding two academy players into the first team, we can argue he was reluctant abi nitio but circumstances and poor results earlier this year made him compromised on his stubborn stance. Lets just say, this is a learning phase of English Football for him and he can only get better next season.
Let not also forget that he started this season with his Kovacic-Barkley substitutions which offcourse have been taken over by events of late.

That said, Reece James, Zouma, Mount, Abraham and Batshuayi should be the ones to recall especially with the transfer embargo placed on Chelsea.

Another player to look at is Pasalic; he has been very good anytime I see him play for Atalanta and should be given a shout during the Preseason.

I would be concerned about him still, he struggles to have any influence with his subs.

He seems as though he will remain in post for next season, i don't see it going well tbh.

Pasalic wants out. Atalanta have an option to buy.

Pasalic could be a like for like Kovacic replacement, in theory.

Another poster brought it up in jest but it is very possible he’s talking about likes of Morata, Baka, Batshuayi

Bakayoko is equally as schit as Kovacic if not even more so.

He'll be hard to sell as well so you could well be stuck with him.

Very much doubt it.

He's had a chance to access Morata and sent him away and he just doesn't stand for such basic technique like the other two pocess.

If I had to guess I would say it James then two out of Mount, Tomori and Aina.

James - definitely
Pulisic - definitely
Mount - yes
Tomori - yes
Batshuayi - unlikely (although there's a possibility as Sarri can't get anyone else)
Morata - unlikely - Sarri got rid of him last year so he can't want him that much (although there's a possibility as he can't get anyone else)
Abraham - probably (although I don't think he's technical enough for Sarri)
Bakayoko - seemed like he was set to be signed by AC Milan, but just last week he had another bust up with Gattuso, so your guess is as good as mine. I doubt Sarri is too keen though.
Aina - who knows
Pasalic - unlikely
