Wasn't comfortable going onto this at all, but one cannot overstate how huge that performance was.
Team disrupted through suspension and injury and up against a team in far better form with all the spygate nonsense brought up again.
Same old problem of not taking chances and we created 3 or so really good chances that went completely begging today.
What a superb ball from Harrison for Roofe to put that away. Roofe's movement up front is superb, what a shame we missed him for so much of the season.
Tell you who really impressed me though. Berardi. Could have been seen as a weak link but stood completely firm, wasn't giving away stupid free kicks, great to see him stepping up when needed.
This has to hurt Derby psychologically, 3 played, 3 lost and definitely did not get any luck with penalty decision. I dont think it was a penalty, but we get to see replay after replay, but hugely brave decision from referee to seek advise and overturn his own decision, right or wrong, that was brave decision.
Leeds just have to not sit back, we have to take the game to them on Wednesday and properly finish this off.
After all the doubts, Leeds, thank you for standing up and doing exactly what we needed.
Thoughts from today

what was roofe's hand signal about?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you mean for the goal he does it all the time

Aza, I think he did something else, Ayling was trying to calm things down.

Still the second leg to play so let's not get ahead of things.
Overall it was a very solid performance, although I felt we started both halfs a little shaky, but we then found our feet and played well enough to deserve to be ahead.
Keeper had nothing to do.
Defense - ayling is the best rightback in the league and showed it today.
Berardi and Dallas for me were the two best players on the pitch
Midfield- what a cross from Harrison, Jamie shack played great once he was on
Roofe had had chance and took it, that's all we needed from him

Shackleton - how on earth has Forshaw been getting in ahead of him for the past two months? He is a dynamo in the midfield.

Yes he has been underused for sure.

I do not like to say this, but I think we look a lot more assured without Alioski on the left. Alioski has a great motor and a positive attitude, but his final ball is so wasteful and he draws attention to himself for the wrong reasons. Dallas played a sensible game, allowing Harrison to be more creative. I think this makes us a lot more balanced as a team, with threats from both flanks.

Think you bang on
That is a huge call away from home, to overturn a penalty the ref gave!

Roofe was OUTSTANDING. Bamford is a much bigger guy but simply doesn’t have the aggression needed to hold up the ball. Roofe did it very well which relieves pressure at the back.
Regardless of the goal his movement caused them all sorts of problems.

What a difference Shackleton made due to his pace. He a star
Thought Dallas played his game for Leeds
I presume Pontus comes in for Berardi if fit. We need another tall for when we win corners

I reckon his hand signal is either A1 or LU
