GB reminds me of those right wing journos who wake up everyday with only one aim, to push the boundary of the kind of stuff they can spout out, obviously hoping for a reaction.

Because he has become a caricature of himself, it doesnt matter what he says, sort of like the Sun and the Daily Mail.

About 5 weeks ago, GB guaranteed us that city would "DEFINITELY" drop 5 points. Now that they cant do that, he has to target something else like Pep. Its like he still thinks this is the mind game era.

If the city team are focused and do what they have done all season, then nothing else matters. Yes nerves come into it when the prize is close especially considering they are top but its all decided on the football pitch. Thats it!

At least today he didnt put up an article to list ways in which Brighton could beat city. Watching Brighton, only way to Citys goal was through set pieces. Was sad to watch really.

Liverpool did have a big chance to dominate the league when they were ten points clear and out of the Carling and Fa cups.

They also had a great chance to lay down a marker at the etihad

They had a month or two when they could not handle the pressure being top. Dreadful and lucky v Leicester, needing gaffes from third choice Palace keepers; struggling to beat a relegated Fulham.

City were winning games fair and square, controlling games. Liverpool never looked in control

Silly to suggest that City or Liverpool would be feeling the pressure today. I think the message from both managers will have been the same as it has for pretty much most of the season, "go out there and play football".

Both teams are that much better than the rest, they can go out and play their style of play and can be confident they will win no matter who they play. Ok, some games have been difficult, but you don't have to win 2/3-0 every week and be in complete control of the game. The points are what matter, not how you get them.

City have been in some close one's recently as well. Leicester was nervy on Monday night, they looked nervy towards the end against Spurs etc. But that doesn't matter, they won the games.
