Copied off FaceBook:
Wednesday Night in our play off match at Elland Road - we urge all Leeds fans to pay their respects to Nick Wilson (43) who sadly passed away on Friday morning with a minutes applause on the 43rd minute.
Nick was a life long Leeds United fan and would want nothing more than Leeds to be promoted this year, "we’re gonna stay with you forever, at least until the world stops going round!"

How going to sound really harsh here
But there is leeds fan who sadly die everyweek. We rightly have a minutes applause every season to remember who have passed away.
This is the biggest game for 10 years and the fans need to be backing the players

I see your point but there are only 1 or 2 of these requests each season.
You will be there, I won’t, you can do it or not.
I will listen for it.

I won’t be doing it pal and urge everyone else not to.
What is with people being so fooking needy

Heart felt sympathy to the family
It is up to the individual to applaud or not.

Not at all pal
Just don’t place one fan above others

As harsh at is sounds, I agree with LIW and I know someone who is a big Leeds fan who died at the start of the year. The club always does a minutes applause for everyone together.

Got to agree with LIW here. I feel the same when a random applause starts at games I've been at.
Sympathy to the family, I've lost someone myself recently. But I don't know the guy so not sure what respects I'm paying by applauding at the 43rd minute.
