Odsonne Edouard a major doubt for the Scottish cup final after he suffered an ankle injury towards the end of the game on Sunday.
Mikael Lustig and Johnny Hayes also both expected to miss the game with hamstring injuries.
3 injuries to guys who would probably have started the game next Saturday. Add in the fact KT and Forrest were already injured, Griffiths missing for obvious reasons it was flucking ludicrous to play Edouard on Sunday.
If we need to go with Burke up top and Sinclair on the left then we’re in for an absolutely torturous afternoon
In more encouraging news, the rumours about Lennon and the new strip on sale date has been confirmed by its originator as Barry Whyte.
Few names thrown into the ring the last 24 hours, Carlos Carvahal and Chris Hughton.
I’d take either of them, Hughton the first choice. Looks like that Graham Potter is going to Brighton, would have taken him as well.
Benitez is into 5/4 with the bookies
NNH
Flucking knew this would happen

On the points regarding ourselves in this thread:
Improvement has been made over the course of the season, admittedly, however it hasn't been enough to see us compete for a trophy.
The 'aggregate victory' whilst nice isn't really worth much when you go and drop points consistently against the dross in the league. Extra quality is required for these games, the likes of Hastie, Jones & Stewart are NOT the players that will turn a draw into a win in this kind of scenario, imo.
We need a minimum of 3 players to come in and be first teamers, before departures. A left back (assuming Barasic doesn't come good, which I still have some hope of), a central midfielder and a right winger. Replacements for Morelos and Kent are likely required as well.

Another CM? We'll be able to field a full team of them soon.
Not saying it's not somewhere where a stand out player wouldn't be welcomed but we have to sell a few in there first.
Barasic i like and he's quality but question marks around his mentality. I'll trust Gerrard to make the right call there.
Kent again, a replacement for Morelos and some CB's and we are sorted.

I really hope Barisic grows a set and decides he is up for the challenge of playing for Rangers.
He has all the tolls to be a top player - just doesn't seem keen on the rough and tumble of Scottish football.
If Barisic had half the steel of Flanagan he would be a top player.

Taken from another forum re update on the manager hunt

Not much that hasn't already been said. No further update on talks with Rafa or Jose. Cocu, Moyes and others all in the running.
Lennon seems to be a last resort, but then Lawwell likes that.

It is definitely going to be Rafa or Jose.
For sure
Trust the board. They will deliver the dream.
Sundays defeat was the best thing that could happen for celtic.
They wouldn't have bothered getting Jose or Rafa - or even them both - imagine that!
It will happen. Lenny will be back on cone duty.
