I wasn't impressed by him last night, too many nothing balls and losing possession to often.

I think if Grealish and Sessegnon are the sum of our ambitions then we may as well start looking for a new manager.

Spurs need to buy big. OK buying all these Championship players as squad players, but need a new right back and central midfielder to go straight in to the first XI. Need to spend £150 million on ready made top players, if we are really to progress.

He's not going to dramatically improve the first XI. He's a downgrade on Eriksen. He would improve the squad, and he might become a better player working under Pochettino - though he's 24 in September so questionable how much further he can develop.

Anything more than £20m for a squad player wouldn't be worth it, in my book.

you have to pay silly money for even squad players these days. We need to whack money on the table for Wan Bissaka and Tielemans to improve the first XI before f@nnying around with squad players.

That is true.

Problem is all the other clubs are also looking to improve their teams as well, so not that easy just to go out and get the required players. The players Spurs want everybody else wants as well.

So much for CL making us attractive to top players.
