Captain for next season

In the current squad there is no-one with captain's qualities. If Kolašinac can play well enough to become a regular starter he would be my choice.

Leno maybe? Not exactly spoilt for choice. I imagine Kos will keep it officially.

Give it to Laca, if Kos is handing it over.

From the current crop, I would expect the captain to be Xhaka or Ozil.

Looking at the squad, I would PREFER it to be Leno. Or P-EA. Sokratis is too unpredictable.

I think in a few years, I'd like to see AM-N, ESR and Holding be considered for captain. Not yet though...

When fit Xhaka starting every other game. Like it or not. He is a first teamer.

He shouldn't be though, he's an absolute liability as Lex says and the "good sides" of his game are nowhere near strong enough to mitigate the bad ones.

I agree he's likely to be a first teamer again next season. He will suffer badly because of that
