Ward's had a decent career to be fair. I never got the negativity towards him, It wasn't his fault that Mick thought the sun shone out of his backside

I think the negativity came from him still being the first choice in our third prem season, but then again that could be said about most of our starters who quite ridiculously were mostly the same players that saw us promoted two years previous.

As oldgold correctly states though, non of that is the players fault.

Who's fault it was is a matter of opinion. But a good pointer is to take a wee peak at what spending a couple of hundred million pounds has done for our first eleven.

There seemed to be two criticisms of Ward. One that he wasn’t a left back and one that he wasn’t good enough to be in our team. Ironic then that after leaving Wolves he played around 150 times as a left back at clubs that were doing better than Wolves

Still doesn't make him a good player.
But good luck to him, he's made a better living than I have.

So by DJs reckoning Andrew Surman was the star that got away.

Sorry to hear that Wolfgang. The big C has or will affect every single one of us either directly or indirectly in this life.

No contract extension for Pulis at Boro. Imagine the reaction if he turned up in Sandwell again next week . Pardew is still on the market too. What's Pepe Mel up to these days?

Chances are I guess that Hughton will probably go there now, which would probably be a good move, he will probably get them promoted but but no sooner than Big Dave would have.

Lots of talk to the Cowleys going there too still but I hope they dont taint their CVs by doing so.

Sorry about your mate Wolfgang, condolences.
