An Open Letter

To the players, coaching staff, and boardroom staff of Leeds United Football Club,

Thank you to each and every one of you, for taking the hopes and dreams of thousands of supporters, smashing them into pieces, and then stamping on those pieces.

I don't want to see you applauding the fans (apparently, the only people at this club that actually care), I don't want to see your endless "We Go Again" social media posts, and I don't want to see you banging on about how good of a season it's been.

Because the bottom line is this:

We spent more time in the top 2 than any other club....and you blew it!

We were in complete control of this playoff match....and you blew it!

You had the best chance we've had in FIFTEEN YEARS to get out of this hellhole of a league....AND YOU BLEW IT!!!!

Thank you for the false hope,
Thank you for the endless streams of abuse from rival fans,

Thank you for wasting everyone's time.

Have a good summer. See you in August, no doubt with a new, worse manager and a substandard squad.

🖕

Neither did I, Hypocrite.

I can’t stop the tears at the moment.
I think Dallas, Harrison, Shackleton, Phillips, were fantastic tonight. Hernandez was poor, as was Bamford but I firmly believe if Casilla hadn’t have messed up again (he did it at Ipswich?) we wouldn’t have lost that game. That goal gave Derby a lifeline and they grabbed it with both hands. Cooper also always manages to mess up as well!!!
I hope Bielsa stays at least another season, but we need investment in some good players. We needed another striker all season and another CB and Saiz should have been replaced in January. I guess Daniel James will go to Man U now - seeing as we aren’t getting promoted. Why does it always feel like Leeds Utd has such bad luck? James should have been our player since January, but no, a guy at Swansea stops it happening and we get no-one! Is that gypsy curse still over Elland Road because it feels like it!!!
I just feel numb.

This has been the best season since relegation from the Prem.

All hail Bielsa.

Now, Radz and Orta, learn from it and correct what went wrong

We go again.

I'm proud of what the guys have done - yes, they screwed up in this match, but what a season! We are on everyone's lips again! We must keep Bielsa!

Just let me vent. I imagine I'm echoing what a lot of us are feeling tonight.

Thing is, you do it every month.

My job's on its ar$e,
My mum's in hospital,
My fiancee is 1 bad day away from a total breakdown.

I needed a win tonight.

Against what? Using Russian blood money to buy trophies?

Oh wait, that was your lot.

Please no, Jonty! Casilla is fast catching up to Weidwald - becoming a complete disaster. Why does the club give such long contracts to players? Why not give a 2 year one and if the player turns out to be of the required standard then lengthen the contract. If he doesn’t, he can be moved on without costing the club too much.

Definitely a case of gifting it to Derby. They were looking lost until Cooper and Casilla gifted them a goal just before half time. We go in 1 nil up (2 on agg) and we win the game. Goal lifts them they come out fired up for the 2nd half and we are half asleep and concede straight away. Initiative passed to them. Even the we missed good chances in 2nd half whereas they took theirs. Derby not even that good but we let them put 4 past us. Abject surrender I am afraid
