13 years ago today he came on and turned that Champions league final against Arsenal around with 2 assists.
When it came to the big occasion, have we ever had a better player? McNeil for obvious reason but in terms of ability to change a game and always showing up on the big stage, was there anyone better than Larsson at Celtic?
The UEFA cup final is obviously still a sore one but people sometimes forget just how flucking good Larsson was that night, he was unplayable. His first header is absolutely ridiculous
He was unbelievable in every away game in that run, funnily enough at home he was also good but there was something about him away from home that year that was head and shoulders above the rest.
On the back of Lennon's comments yesterday about the new breed of Celtic fan being spoiled, we were certainly spoiled with him for those 7 years, by far and away the greatest player I've seen in a Celtic jersey in my lifetime.

Year and years ago my cousin had a Celtic game on and was raving about a recent Celtic signing called Larsson. I said to him, he looked ok but not in the same league as berkovic.

His chip against Rangers was obviously the most memorable but for me his best finish was the one he took an absolute banger of a Momo Sylla cross and sent Craig Moore for a fruit shoot with his first touch then pinged it tap pokey with his left.

Is that the one that Klos said was a fluke after the game?
Volley/half-volley if I recall?

Legend.
Imagine him at the hotseat?
The players would bust a gut for such an icon.
