de Ligt open to United move

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/05/17/manchester-united-still-running-ajax-captain-matthijs-de-ligt/

So The Telegraph are saying he is open to the move as he facies being a poster boy for the rebuild.

It also mentions that Barca are worried as they will not be able to finance both Griezmann and de Ligt signings.

City and Liverpool are supposedly interested too.

He didn’t get a contract extension, it’s why he’s leaving this summer for free.

Defo? I thought he got a two year contract extension with Man U left with a private plane etc to bring Godin to Carrington

Yes, 100%, he’s signed a contract with Inter Milan. So like I said, it’s not a comparable situation.

They have said here in the Netherlands that Liverpool has spoken to his representatives. De Ligt prefers Barca so we will see.

Who said....some newspaper? Dutch Sky sports?

On the dutch tv there is a football program and some of those have links to Ajax.

This would be a real game changer for United if they could get it done. An actual, sensible signing.

Fellaini wasn’t a sensible signing?

Seen this before

Hope he enjoys his mega money life with Barca.

Even if this were true, which I doubt, I’m not sure how the clubs work around Raiola’s ban. Barca is a different matter because their window is still open after it expires, but that’s not the case in England.
