If at least four of our youngsters aren't playing in this comp then it's a waste of time.

Henderson. Greenwood, Gomes, Chong, Tuanzebe, Levitt and Garner should all be given chances in the competition. In fact I'd go as far as to say Henderson, Tuanzebe, Greenwood and Gomes should start every game.

We overrate our youngsters every year. Yet the under 23s got relegated, then fell further. Look beyond the hype of our club. Having said that, Greenwood looks like he could be exceptional. Tuanzebe must be better than half our defenders right now too. As for the rest, I'll be surprised if you see them at United in 3 year's time

Most of those have only just come into the u23’s. The talent is certainly there with the players he named. But talent alone is not enough, so we’ll see how things developed for them in the coming years, as they are held in very high regard by the club.

The Europa isn’t taken any more serious in Europe than in England. Liverpool were in the final a few years ago. We won it, Arsenal reached the semis last year and this year both them and Chelsea are in the final. It’s very much taken seriously in England due to the difficulty of getting top four here.

That wouldn’t have got us top four. And doesn’t contradict the overall point, top four is very competitive in this league.
