So reports coming out from L’Equipe, who are usually very reliable when it comes to french transfers are that we are currently in talks with Tungay N’dombele from Lyon. Juventus are the other team supposedly interested in him. Lyon president has already confirmed there are 2 clubs in talks with him, so definitely got legs this one, but he seems to be trying to angle for a bidding war.
That being said, if this N’Dombele wants to come to Spurs, then that puts us in the driving seat. Can’t say I know to much about him, but hearing rave reviews from a lot of people that say he’s a fantastic player and exactly what we need. We certainly need a powerhouse centre midfielder ( Dembele replacement) , is this guy the perfect midfielder we need ?
Tanguy Ndombele

He’s top class and our most needed signing so for that I doubt it’ll happen.
I see Lyon president has said he’s rang up PSG to get them involved too

If city are being charged with breaking FFP how are PSG not? Being in a pub league they will have far less revenue, so must be inflating their 'sponsorships' even more.
Then they have signed neymar and mbappe in the last couple of seasons for the best part of 400m! Surely they can't buy more?
I just don't get how city can be charged and not them.

Anyone interested there’s a player called Lo Celso who we’ve been linked with playing against Madrid on premier sports at 11.
He plays for Betis but they signed him from PSG.

Giovani Lo Celso is a seriously classy player. Would love to see him at Spurs, he's a lot more tenacious than your average South American playmaker.
Ndombele would be absolutely superb though, I genuinely reckon he'll be considered one of the world's best midfielders in a couple of years. He starts out deep but rolls his man so easily, bombs forward and always looks for the through ball. He's just like Yaya was in his early City days and I honestly reckon he'll end up just as good.
That said, I could easily see one of the Spanish clubs coming in for him and I don't see him choosing Spurs over them.

Let's say we get this guy OP is talking about, what would be his song?
Tanguy the tan guy, he's our tan guy wherever he goes, he leaves his mark!
Anyhoo, ain't happening chaps
Can't see that tight backside with bald top at the helm, going after any semi decent player, as he knows shrewd that he is with anything to do with his dough, a semi decent player's fee will be worth half of the budget he's set aside

We all know how players called "N[Insert Name]" from the French league turn out for Spurs.. Can he sign as Tanguy Alvaro instead?

Lots of rumours suggesting we are actively pursuing Ndombele and he is keen to come to Spurs, pinch of salt as usual, but lets hope Levy does not balls up a potential deal up if true
