Fletcher in my view, but Brown & O’Shea not far behind.

But surely Gerard Pique would have to be the best prospect from the academy if we include players that moved elsewhere?

I would have to say Fletcher just about because he actually made it in his best position. Brown and O’Shea played most of their best stuff at full back

Our academy really is brilliant, it's not just the players who have had careers at United, but those who have left and still been good enough to forge a path in top level football.

You think about the like of Craig Cathcart, Robbie Brady, Phil Bardsey, James Chester, Corry Evans, Mats Daehli, Giuseppe Rossi, Ron-Robert Zieler etc, there are loads of 'em.
