"United actually suffered more injuries than any other Premier League side during the course of the season.
Figures released by premierinjuries.com and collated by The Sun showed that the Reds endured a separate 61 injuries between the start of the season on August 10 and its May 12 finale.
United topped both that table and the chart for number of days missed through injury (1,392)."

Injuries has been a concern for a few years now. We have a number of injury prone players, especially in defence (all our CBs apart from Lindelof for example). We need to not only up fitness but get in players who aren't injury prone.
We've been linked with Bale and Varane of Real Madrid, but these are the players we should avoid, especially given their injury records and out luck with such players.
I can believe this has been something that hasn't been dealt with by the club (though I shouldn'tbbe surprised about it) and its medial staff. It reminds me of a story Evra said when he left us for Juventus. Their medial staff managed to figure out that Evra shouldn't be eating eggs. Yet he was with us all that time and our medial staff didn't figure that out. Its ridiculous.

Maybe they're self-harming because morale is so low?

There's definitely something both clubs do that is wrong to get the amount of injuries we both do.
-----------------------
Our injury crises stretch back to the SAF days. It doesn't help when you have players like Bailly and Jones who bring impact injuries on themselves constantly with kamikaze defensive action.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Phil Jones, if only he was as good at football as he is at injuring himself.
He'd probably be the best player in the universe.
To be honest I am amazed some of these guys even have a career in the Premiership - some of them are really not good enough for it.

Not only impact injuries. Bailly's latest knee ligament injury came from him going in for a tackle at a completely stupid angle.
Bailly is one who gets away with a fair bit of stick, actually. I've given him the benefit of the doubt before but he is just one idiot of a defender. Would happily ship him out to Arsenal if indeed those rumours are true.

It’s so frustrating. The squad has issues with quality anyway but how do you expect to achieve anything when they keep getting injured?
