Gareth Bale to Liverpool ???

Big news circulating around my area, from the valley rams, that Gareth Bale is going to be sent on loan to LFC next season.

Now I do not know how true this news is, but the Cardiff FC supporters are convinced this is happening.

I must admit, there is nothing substantial to be found on the internet regarding this.

How would the LFC fans on here feel about him playing for LFC ?

Cost benefit says no, he won’t budge from his 600k a week and the precedent that sets will be bad for team morale and future transfers.

Basically not a single european team will take him with those wages.
Dunno what Real were thinking at the time..

Red....yeah that wage is madness. However, bale has made his money hes a multi millionaire over and he may come into liverpools wage structure if it means competing for CL and title etc.

Plus dont forget playing for Liverpool is now more than ever a massive massive pull.....we are at the top of our game.

Mate shut up, he isn't going to turn away 400k a week to fit into our wage structure.

"If it ain't broke don't fix it."

Any player being considered must have the talent to equal or better those currently in position. Bale, for me, ticks that one.

The question is, would the club benefit from him playing alongside any permutation of the front three? On that one, I have my doubts.

Age/resell value. What is he, 31? Fantastic player, world class at times. If on loan, or even if on loan, RM continue paying his wages. Even then, I would have my doubts.

Where can he go in the PL if he were to return? Only ManU could afford him, and boy, do they need a striker.

And a lot more.

No, it won't happen. Why would Liverpool even want him anyway? They've got 3 forwards who are always capable of outscoring any opposition they face against, so why would Klopp suddenly look at Bale who is injury prone, on astronomical wages and imo doesn't exactly improve what already is a great attack.
