With the news that Inter want Lukaku and that Sanchez might also be off does anyone think it would be worth a try giving Tony a chance as the main CF again.
Let’s be fair he’s been poor as a wide man recently. His work rate, passing and crossing are not good enough to be consistently effective out wide. His dribbling ability is also well overrated.
One thing he is is a deadly finisher. I read yesterday he was the PL’s most clinical finisher last season.
If Lukaku does go there doesn’t seem to be a stand out replacement in the market and there’s still huge doubts over if Rashford is the long term answer up top.
Reports say that Inter are willing to offer Perisic plus cash for Lukaku. I know Perisic is 30 but he’s a specialist winger and it may be worth a risk.
I’d love like to give Tony at least another try up top battling with Rashford for the place with Greenwood also getting opportunities.

Yes, I'd love to see AM9 restored to centre forward, in front of shoot from anywhere Rashy.
No doubt Marcus is quick and talented, just far to selfish. Needs to be lift his head and trust players in a better position.

I reckon Conte will love Perisic anyway. I’d be surprised if they get rid with him going there.
