Somewhat of a master-class of a press release but only in PR damage limitation terms.However, no apology and no admission that Celtic FC failed these young people.
Really, this is not good enough. Time for our Club to face up to their responsibilities and at the very least offer OTT generous compensation to those affected.
Time for Celtic to do the right thing. FFS Just use the fecking windfall money the Club is getting for letting the ground out tomorrow. That would a start at least!

If Celtic paid out money it then assumes responsibility.
If you want the club to just be held responsible then fair enough.
Like all things though; how does money make it somehow seem as if justice is served? I’m all for assisting (and paying) for anyone damaged by any trauma caused whether mental or physical. How does anyone decide what is the right amount? Put it in the hands of their lawyers?

Sue the perpetrators. Celtic took players from CBC so they must have known. CBC gave players to 27 other clubs up and down the UK and not a peep.

I really hope the club hold strong on this issue and the victims go after the bstarts at CBC.

It's been confirmed it happened at celtic Park. Give up.
Good statement apart from pointing out it happened in lots of places over many years. Kinda feels like they're avoiding it.
Ginger is right though. A plc cannot assume responsibility for that. Need to act with the shareholders best interests.
Again good to see sensible debate on here about the subject. It's fvck all to do with being a celtic fan, it's also fvck all to do with football.
