A better combo than our current right flank, embarrassing!

Loved Ole's comment after the game: "Jaap and Ronnie, we could do with them two at the back"

De Ligt & Tuanzebe! (One can dream).

Beckham is/was such a unique player. I can’t think of another player like him, especially with his energy, dynamism combined with that vision & passing. His ability to move the ball forward at pace over distance with laser guided precision was so important to the way we played. There really hasn’t been another player like him since he retired that I can think of. And that’s without mentioning crossing & set pieces!

The way he moves his body when he runs and passes is so unique too, very distinctive. If he was a silloutte you could tellnit was Becks.

Maybe one if his sons inherits his abilities and can where the No.7 for us again.

Well Beckham certainly was. Neville was pretty average; but in a good reliable way as a passer. Beckham was incredible.

I disagree on Neville. His abilities as an overlapping full back who would put in a good cross are often overlooked. Becks was fantastic and his good looks and celebrity see his footballing talent regularly get downplayed

Rashford and Lingard were there looking like a pair or arrogant ponces.

I hope they took not of what it really takes to be a successful Man United player.

I agree Nev complimented Becks well down that flank. Becks never rarely went round the back of a full back and Nevs overlapping helped that. Becks played the ball in front of the FB 9 times out of 10 rather than got behind them

Probably not a bad shout - they certainly share many similar qualities. Beckham’s Passing over distance and his crossing were definitely superior though. De Bruyne a bit more technical and skilful.

you could apply that to hundreds of famous footballers over a very long period of time.
