Tonight we compete in our first European final since 2006, looking to win our first European trophy since 1994.
Only winning 2 European trophies has become a bit of a beating stick, and we really need to add the third tonight, and hope it is a building block to a few more.
The only team news I have seen is Welbeck is available, and no-one else has picked up a knock so hopefully we go into this quite strong. Mkhitaryan, like many of our fans, was unable to travel of course.
One big debate is who will start in goal, the man who has been our Europa keeper all season or our number 1. This debate has intensified by the fact Petr Cech is retiring, and seemingly destined for a return to Chelsea.
My prediction for the XI is :

There are options though, we could go back 4, bring Guendouzi into CM or Iwobi and Auba wide. Interesting to see what Mr Emerys master plan is.
I'm not going to make a prediction. Just hope we win.
Respect to the fans of both clubs who made the journey, hopefully there will be no trouble for, or by, them.

Yeah. If it were a weekend game not in half term I maybe could have justified going - if I could have got a Visa. Despite all the difficulties those who have gone look like they are loving it.

whys it always fans of english teams and the english national team causing trouble at european finals and major international tournaments and not fans of scottish clubs or the scotland national team do you think it is to do with brexit and the education system or is it more socio-cultu-ecomonic?
