Death Stranding

I watched it numerous times. One reason being the beauty and craftmanship it shows. Delving into speculation is something I try to limit myself since I don't want to accidently unravel the plot before I play the game and this is why I don't like to watch trailers anymore, they reveal far too much.

The game will be slow-paced with a few mechanics like timefall (rain that ages anything it touches and Sam has a special connection to it). A 'death-state' where you don't respawn in typical fashion but you find yourself in a purgatory realm where you need to traverse a way back while making decisions how you tackle the obstakels: with (deadly) force or co-op (?) or perhaps evasion.

The gameplay does remind me of MGSV which is a good thing. Stealth elements are definately in place. He has tools to traverse mountains and one assault rifle. I hope this won't be the only tools. The bike was cool.
Im avoiding speculation about the BT's and how it all came to pass. The cast is amazing. Didn't expect it to be released so soon, it's quite amazing if you think about it.

I have no idea if I want to play this game or not. But it is typical of Sony to back such a project.

Kojima does things his own way, and to be fair they are always memorable experiences.

OMG, the Collector's Edition was sold out in less than a freaking day. What the hell man, I really wanted one.

You snooze you lose.

Excited for this but not wanting to really know too much more and as Kojima hasn't let me down in the past I'm sure he'll deliver another classic.

I avoid watching speculation video's on YouTube as enough has been revealed about the game. The rest I want to experience by playing. Hopefully it will be something like Horizon Zero Dawn where you get good answers but the answers raises more questions.

The briefing trailer confirmed much of what we could gather. The way it was made was very impressive. Almost all his trailers seem to provoke some sort of emotion while not even knowing the characters or their roles. One other thing Im looking forward to is the music. My God, this is right up my ally.

The 48 minute gameplay video gave a more detailed picture of micromanagement, traversing and encounters. Together with the briefing it should paint a decent picture what to expect.
