Time for you to get your f*** cheque book out sunshine and deliver the players our brilliant manager Pochettino deserves. For Poch to achieve what he’s done this season with not 1 single signing is nothing short of incredible. 1 bloody win away from being champions of Europe and he didn’t sign anyone, not to mention retaining our CL place in what was a weird season.
That being said, no more excuses anymore. As you all know, I have been on Levy’s case for years. I hate the way we go about the market, leaving it until the last minute to make our moves, then failing to acquire our targets. Time for a change this summer and time to get our number 1 targets in ASAP. No dithering, no penny pinching.
If we want a player desperately, bid the appropriate amount and get that player in the club. I’m not having any bolloks from Spurs fans telling me “ we don’t have the money “, bulls**!! We have a 60,000 seater stadium now generating all that income, plus the CL money getting to the final, no excuses from anyone.
We need massive reinforcements this summer to keep the pace with the top 2 and possibly go on another CL run like this. Don’t disappoint us Levy please ffs!!!

The budget is the key issue.
Spurs need to bulk out the squad and bring in quality. Alderweireld will go in my opinion and Eriksen possibly too.
Rumoured interest in Lo Celso would probably suggest that.
Him and another 4/5 good signings and I can see Spurs having a real chance at the top 2.

The problem you guys have is lack of (available) talent on the market for key positions of todays football: RB and DM
Every man and his dog is looking for a top quality modern RB who can play ball as well as defend. And even if one's become available I will bet you that the likes of Guardiola or Zidane will snap him up before your scouts can report back. Same as with a DM with football sense. Quite a few of the European elite have missed out on Frenkie de Jong (and Fred, Jorginho earlier) and are still desperately looking for that position.
It looks increasingly likely you need to gamble on semi-proven talents like you did with Eriksen, Modric and Kane in the past and make them worldclass yourselves

The problem is Levy will be inquiring about player availability and given a price, only to then make a lower bid and spend weeks haggling, rather than just paying up to get things done quickly. Good business practice maybe, but sometimes you have to overpay to get things done swiftly.
