Lowest possession Champions League winner

Before the game, the talk was about Liverpool superior attack

Out possessed and out shot too

65% possession for Spurs - that makes it only 35% possession for a team that the media blindly built up as a passing side

8 shots on target from Spurs against 3, one which is a pen too

Spurs may have lost the game, but their credibility as an attacking force remains

Unfortunately, it felt in the end like Liverpool were given the game by an incompetent referee

Enjoy your winnings, but the best side didn't win yesterday in my view.

One of the worst winners in my view.

This is a joke article that comes across as very bitter and makes you look like a petty and graceless little man. Also it’s largely sheite - for someone who claims to have been a player you write an incredible amount of crap about football. Also, you need to buy a calculator.

Morespurs claimed to have been a player?

The referee gifted them a first minute penalty, from that moment all they did was sit back, let us have the ball and play on the counter. That was the perfect scenario for Uefapool, and all our plans went out of the window after 1 minute, courtesy of the referee.

So the finalists in the "champions" league lost a combined NINE games in this seasons competition.

Farcical.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So the Champions of the PL lost four games, to the runners up one. Was that a scandal?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ve made the exact same point and has no response. He’s obviously figured out that he made an idiotic and entirely irrelevant comment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s generally what people who are trying to make themselves relevant do.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Relevant. Two time KoP cbampion ffs, basically paid to be here

As for the point, four defeats in the CL is the equivalent of 11 in a prem season(4 defeats in 14 games) so it was effectively the standard of this seasons Manchester United.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really, the group stages allow you to lose games.. Just like any other league.

It's the knock out stages where the competition comes to life.

Long story short you couldn't break us down because on the day your team isn't good enough and that's why Spurs have won 1 in 15 against Liverpool.

The ref also placed Kane in VVD’s back pocket and was credited with an assist for Origi’s goal.

Spurs had the impetus to score since the 2nd minute and couldn't manage it, with the first shot on target coming in the 73rd minute or so.

That tells you all you need to know.

Liverpool scored again in the 85th minute and came closer to scoring more times than Spurs. Eg that Milner shot that just went wide.

Kane was in VVD pocket the whole game and talking about VVD. He was instrumental in both goals. Completely owned Kane in winning the header that gave Mane possession and then made a nuisance of himself in the box as Matip assisted Origi.

He is quite possibly the best footballer in the world right now.

Arguably one of the worst non-Wahl articles on the site. The only relevant thing you say in this is, "Spurs may have lost". Nobody remembers how you win it. Bitter.

That moment when I thought Son had him and the man mountain came back and got the challenge in. What a player.
