George Galloway

The cretin that is George Galloway has been sacked by talksport for anti-Semitic comments when he tweeted to congratulate Liverpool on their success.

The bit that got him sacked was when he referred to “no Israeli flags on the cup"

"Congratulations to the great people of Liverpool to the memory of the socialist miner Bill Shankley to the fallen 96 to those who fought for justice for them and to the Liverpool dockers. No Israel flags on the Cup!"

Liverpool FC were quick to condemn Galloway and his anti-semitic comments as were Spurs.
It was also pointed out that Shankly does not have an e in the name.

What a complete to**er Galloway is.

Galloway is a dhick and the comments are Ill advised and pretty stupid but i don't see why it is anti-semitic.

To try and conflate a football game, with conflicts and politics in the middle east, is just plain flucking stupid, no matter what side of the argument your on.

anyone who feels the need to bring something like that up regardless of intent etc are facking idiots, no need for it probably for attention. But then again if he worked for talksheite i expect no less.

I have to say the reply from the guy at Liverpool was one of the best replies I've seen in some time.
