As we have seen many times before, we hear of a £63m bid for Lo Ceso, and a couple of weeks later....nothing.
Does anyone know where this one is ?
Sorry to sound negative, but haven't we been here before, and ended up with no signings.
If, as I have read, the initial bid was turned down, as Betis want min £70m, then come on levy, the £7m difference will be made up in beer sales at the new stadium in about a month.
We all know doing business early is the most beneficial to any club, so why are we so rubbish at this. Is £7m really that important to one of the 10th richest clubs in the world ?
Lo Celso progress ?

£88 for an unproven player?
Well, for that price, don't you worry Mr Levy. I'll get him for you !

Look, we wouldn’t expect Levy to accept a first offer, it’s a negotiation.
Chill out.

Is he good enough to deserve the valuations of him? I've not seen him at all.

The window is barely open and we’ve had the extension to our season of a CL final, followed immediately by an international break meaning players aren’t even available for talks, medicals etc. Once the international break is over I hope we’ll start seeing some actual action, rather than the recycled twitter fervour we’ve got now.

Doesn’t matter if the player is on international duty or on his jolly’s.
They pay agents to negotiate for them.

It's that kind of thinking that ends up with the club doing deals like Barca did for Coutinho or United did for Sanchez. Just because a few of the top clubs are paying insane money doesn't mean we should join in.
