Real Madrid

They don’t f*** around do they ? The moment they set their eyes on a player , 9 times out 10 they end up getting them. Ronaldo they wanted, they got. Bale, they got. Modric and now Hazard, no problem. Cant stand them, but you have to bloody admire them at times. It was no secret they were going to get Hazard, but they have snapped him up as early as possible.

No problem with negotiations, they get their acquired target all costs. Something I wish Spurs would bloody do for once now I’m not comparing Spurs to Real Madrid, I know they are a different beast to most clubs on the planet, but it would be nice if we could actually get in our targets early and quickly just this once!!!

Just saw the deal. All I can say is though Chelsea would definitely be weaker without Hazard, they have done brilliantly to achieve an improbable fee in this day and age. The Russian lady who does the dealings for them is one hell of a negotiator.
She’s probably looked up by Levy 😂

“Ferguson knew the score when he said he wouldn’t sell them a virus. There’s a man who knew what was what”

He later went on to sell Ronaldo to them.

'Them' what SAF referred to being Ramon Calderon and his cronies.

They wanted Pochettino last season. They got nothing. Levy was like Michael Corleone negotiating with Senator Geary. “My offer is this. Nothing...”

Easy for RM to get whatever players they want when they are infinitely funded by the state and have licence to squeeze the life out of every other club in Spain except Barca by negotiating independent TV rights deals. Scuuumbag club - Ferguson knew the score when he said he wouldn’t sell them a virus. There’s a man who knew what was what. I wouldn’t piiiisss on the Bernabeu if it was on fire.

Your piiiisss would probably set it on fire!

If we can’t get players done and dusted early this summer, after opening one of the best stadiums in the world and getting to the cl final, then I don’t think we ever will

If you are going to offer a deal of up to £150m for a player desperate to join you and in the last year of his contract I would say that is pretty inept business.

In our situation it sounds like we can buy this lo celso for £88m. But that is an insane figure. I would rather we negotiated a bit and got him for £60m next month.

So surely we should be looking for somewhere around £80m - £100m all in for Eriksen if Hazard is going for (£150m) £90m plus £60m in add ons.

This deal probably ends Eriksen`s Real Madrid dream, I can`t see them splashing out another large fee on him as well as the other players they have brought in. It probably leaves PSG, Bayern or Juve as Christians options, and I`m not sure any of those are a step up from Spurs.

Unless Ronaldo was considering Spurs before he moved to Juventus... both are definitely a step up.

They failed to get De Gea.
Doesn't look like they will get Pogba.
They had to wait a year to get Hazard.

They don't always succeed.

They would have had ddg aside a dodgy fax machine, and if the genuinely wanted pogba they’d get him. I do t tho k they think he’s worth the money, I would agree..

As much as Spurs have kicked on saying Juve and Bayern aren't a step us is kinda comical tbh.
They are much, much bigger than Spurs.
