Liverpool and City.

Champions of Europe and the champions...who is going to compete with them in the prem? Cfc..utd are in chaos with transfer bans hazard leaving and over at utd it's just all gone Pete tong.

Spurs look like losing some of their best players and pochster has hardly intimated he is defo staying, arsenal are arsene light and need a new defence for starters.

Over on European matters madrid are rebuilding as are bayern and barca to some extent, juventus look ok but ronny ain't getting any younger and back to Spain atlecti are regressing. So who is going to stop the juggernauts of city and Liverpool next season??

Only if you believe you should've won, however it looks like Spurs gave it everything and there were no howlers like Karius.

On the day, despite Spurs having the ball and who were forcing the play Liverpool kept you at arms length.

Probably sound condescending but in time that gutted feeling will end and at least you could look back on the time that you want all the way to a CL final.

Most of the spurs supporters are sound.. I'm just glad for Klopp that we won.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not saying we deserved it. I actually think that had you not have gone 1 up so early we would have seen a different Liverpool. We didn't look dangerous.

I just mean generally going to a final that big and losing is going to be painful. I can't knock the players for the effort in the final. Just didn't click properly.

I thought our fans was fantastic at full time singing and showing our respect and I spose that shows how much we appreciated the run we had.

Liverpool were too good last season to leave it empty handed.

I was in Madrid and you outnumbered is in the streets of Madrid but there were more Spurs fans in the stadium. There were 62k Spurs fans at WHL line which explains why no so many travelled without tickets.

You are not a superior club. To you, of course. To me, no.

Not envious, if anything, I'm trying to educate you on your immature ways. You seem to think Liverpool are all that matter. When, to Liverpool fans that is true.

i was at the game last weekend. My pretty obvious jibe was that the majority of Liverpool fans on here have never been to a CL final and seen them win. It was that simple I didn't think I'd actually need to explain
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you've also seen Spurs lose more CL finals live than most spurs fans.

Actually on that count of seeing our teams lose CL finals, you're the same as me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You get it too. Well, we have something in common then

In all seriousness, it's the most gutted I've ever been. Still gutted now. The ride was brilliant but to lose in a final like that is hard to take. Well done though, no hard feelings from me.

It's mad how some times I can disagree with your opinion but I always respect your posts when I read em.
I can actually agree with Sandy sometimes, rarely mind, and still find him annoying 😂
Must've been heartbreaking mate but no shame in wearing your heart on your sleeve, if Levy pulls his finger out Spurs could be back there soon....

Fair play mate.

One thing I found (and knew I would) in Madrid was how respectful and good natured the 2 sets of supporters were to each other in Madrid. Wouldn't expect anyhting different. Talking, drinking and singing together at times.

We even picked up a lone Liverpool fan in our taxi as we had space, as a result he didn't miss his flight. The experience between the 2 sets of fans last weekend was a memory il keep.

I can relate to that Bake

I was in Heysel in 1985 and dyring the day ,in the build up to the game it was exactly the same between the Liverpool & Juventus fans

Singing, talking, drinking, swapping shirts, scarves, programmes etc all day outside the ground

I'll just it there because we all know what happened next.

No idea mate. If you know him, he would have jumped in to a taxi with 3 Spurs fan; 2 of which were Irish and 1 English (me). I had to run as soon as we got to terminal
