Seriously - how many of them do we need?

Currently we have;
Murphy
Middleton
Jones
Candeais
Hastie
Grezda.

Todays papers are suggesting Middleton and Hastie might be going out on loan next season. Middleton I am not so surprised about but I thought Hastie would be kept around to challenge Candeais and provide a real goal threat coming in off the right next season.

I would rather have Hastie in the squad for next season than Jordan fookin Jones.

Grezda has gone AWOL from the Albania squad and has generally been a poor signing despite clearly having pace and ability. Seems hes no right mentally for us and will probably be out the door.

It also seems like the Ojo deal is going to go ahead. I haven't seen Ojo play but know he is highly rated and has a bit of a similar playing history to Kent when we got him. I would be optimistic SG could get him performing for us and he could be an asset.

We still seem to be desperate to get Kent as well. I have said before - I thought Kent did well - particularly in the OF games - but in the games that cost us the chance of challenging in the league I thought Kent was part of the problem. He is too predictable in what he tries to do and is not effective or consistent enough at doing it to break down the teams that sit in with ten men behind the ball.

When we were toiling it always seemed to be - give the ball to Kent and hope for the best.

Kent played in the majority of games we dropped points in - and he was as frustrating as anyone else in those games. I think we need more variety in our play and more movement. Not just constantly looking for Kent to dribble through a packed defence.

I think if we get OJo we have more than enough in the wide areas and we should move on from Kent and focus on getting in a third CB and a playmaker in the midfield.

A fit Jamie Murphy will score ten goals a season no bother from the left. As much as Kent is technically more gifted than Murphy - I am not convinced the end product is there anywhere near often enough.
