Lukaku staying ?

Has Ole purchased James to provide crosses for Lukaku ?

Don’t see Martial or Rashford scoring many headers.

has Lukaku just scored a couple vs Scotland.

Yes he has. Time for a Lukaku based article who is now obviously better than Rashford and Martial

And how does a target man deal with crosses especially with his back to goal most of the time. Overhead kicks?

We don't know Mont, or what the team will be.

Delete all you want RDD. You can't escape the fact that you have no idea what a target man is.

Lukaku isn't one. This is your first clue.

watching Lukaku trying to play the target man is comedy gold. His first touch is a back pass, basically

I suspect that RDD also thinks you have to have a target man for crosses in the box.

Not sure you could label Rooney, Cole, Yorke etc as target men.

What a strange train of thought

Inter want him, but are unwilling to meet his value due to FFP. They want to do a player plus cash deal, but United aren't interested in such a deal.

Says The Sun.

I doubt many clubs will be prepared to pay £50m and his no doubt ridiculous wage / demands.

A winger that can actually get a decent cross in would certainly help Lukaku. That said, from what I have seen, James is more likely to drive to the byline and pull the ball back across goal on the floor than he is to float one in the air. With Lukaku's inability to move his feet quickly enough to take such chances on a regular basis, I am not sure just how much James would actually help him. Also, I am fairly sure that Lukaku will be on his way to Italy. He and his agent have openly talked about his desire to play there one day in the last few months and it does seem that the club are looking to sell him. He won't want to play second fiddle at United and that is what he was under Ole when we had everyone available. So no, I don't think that the James signing indicates that we are keeping Lukaku.
