So I search NDombele on DuckDuckGo. I get this search result for SkySports:

"Tottenham close to signing Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon"

So I click it, start reading and the very first paragraph reads:

"Discussions are understood to be in the early stages and they are still far from agreeing a deal for the 22-year-old France international."

Talk about click bait!

Ffs still irks me we got rid of him so soon..we could have done with him last year.

getting rid of dembele was even a bigger mistake than not buying anyone last year. time for levy to pull the finger out.

It's just way too easy for him in the Chinese league, I reckon he could still do it in the PL, though injuries may taken their toll. I miss him pulling on the Spurs shirt.

It was a huge mistake. Even if we could’ve got a game a week out of him for the remainder of the season we should’ve kept him. He could still have gone to China this summer and made his money. We got shirt buttons for him. How we could’ve done with him in that CL final, at his best he would utterly dominate the likes of Henderson and Wijnaldum. Very poor decision from the club IMO. I’ve got a lot of repsect for Dembele, great player and seems like a good guy too.

Exactly, even an 80% fit Dembele would have handled Henderson and Wijnaldum.

Big balls up from us no doubt getting rid.i have no doubt We would have had top 4 wrapped up weeks before we did if we had him.
And who knows what his influence would have been in the CL final with a weary looking Liverpool turning up.
It’s ironic we got to the CL final when we arguably had our worst season in years. If only!
