Is it me or is something lacking so far from this WC?
It's unfortunate there have been more one sided games than one would hope for. Not enough thrillers going down to the last over or two.
The weather of course hasn't helped.
It's a long format so maybe it will get better.
But it just seems there's a bit of razzmatazz missing.
Where are the Mexican waves?
Where are the impromptu bands?
Where, oh where are the lovely dancing girls?
The atmosphere just seems a bit flat.
Credit to India and Pakistan fans today but even in that game they were empty seats.
Something missing?

You are obsessed over these dancing girls
ICC/ECB have messed up the ticketing. They said 95% were sold but every ground there has been empty seats.
Only close game so far has been England V Pakistan but even that wasnt that close.

Greatbore, what do you know about cricket? Why are you giving your opinions into the matter that you don't have a clue?

I thought Twenty20 cricket was the fastest growing team sport on the planet?
Far more people turn up to watch cricket tan wimmins football yet wimmins football seems to dominate the media.
Cricket is our official summer sport.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t have the figure for cricket but 6 million people tuned in to watch England play Scotland in the WWC.
What’s the highest UK tv viewing at the cricket so far?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dunno but Old Trafford had 700,000 ticket applications for yesterdays game, globally watched by 1.5 billion!

Coverage hasn't been great, there's no studio for the pundits which is silly. No proper good analysis. No world cup show. I remember in the 2015 world world cup whenever there were reviews i.e. run out reviews, DRS etc they would play the world cup theme song which added to the drama and excitement and they haven't done that this year. That may seem like a minor thing to most people though.
Also commentators like Bumble and Danny Morrison would have been ideal for a world cup yet they decide to not choose them!
Overall a lot of things lacking in this world cup which is a huge shame.
