A long time reader who doesn’t contribute often, I was Interested to read a farewell from Phil Hay in the YEP.

As a kid who grew up on the other side of the world at a time when we only got occasional black and white TV coverage of English football and has been through the ups and downs of supporting Leeds Utd from afar, whose visits to ER have been among my lifetime highlights, the final paragraph rings so many bells for me.
