AWB & other young prospects

Sounds like Palace are valuing him at 50mln. Seems like United and them are arguing over add on's BUT for a player that young with great upside you could see him being a starter for at least the next 5 or 6 years. You could probably make the same kind of argument for the likes of Lo Celso & N'Dombele.

I don't think any of us fans expect Spurs to be spending hundreds of millions every window like some others.....The continuity of our club is something that's really admirable and much of the credit for that goes to Poch !!

So with so much needed to try and push us forward, the lack of recent investment, SURELY Levy must realize that NOW is the time to be proactive. If paying more than he would wants hurts (i'm sure it kills him) but hopefully he can see the bigger picture..... a big investment this year, with the new stadium, CL footy, Chelsea, Arsenal & united all a mess.... If ever there was a time to really back Poch, its NOW......we could be set for the next 4-5 years requiring only minimal changes in the upcoming windows.... The Likes of Lo Celso, N'Dombele, AWB & Sessegnon to go with the good players we already have, offset by sales later in the window (once we've done what we need to do) could sustain Spurs at the top end of the European game for the next few years

Please, for the love of god Levy, get a facking move on

TBH... I could see AWB, N'Dombele (Pogba replacement) and Sessegnon all ending up at United... Probably being coached by Poch in the not too distant future

I can't quite understand why we aren't going for AWB. We need a new right back. He's young, English, and is apparently within reach in terms of value. We have CL to offer him and United don't. Why aren't we competing with them?

I do wonder if this new found strategy by United of targeting good young players is a sneaky way of appealing to Poch when OGS gets found out for being nothing more than a great sub

Good point. It will definitely make United more appealable to Poch, if he does decide to move on to pastures new.

Hopefully it does make us more attractive to Poch in the future, great manager and I reckon would be perfect for us (for how I WANT us to be run, not how we have been operating recently).

Very much doubt it's in Oles current plans to make things more appealing for the next guy though, would hope he's got more confidence in himself than that

There is no way we are spending £50m on a full back like AWB, Moneybags United have had a 50m bid turned down and will probably go back and offer more to get their man.

Forget AWB, it won`t happen, IF the club desires a new FB it will be a much cheaper under the radar player.

AWB scored quite a good goal last night .

If we aren't going to have a proper scouting system we need to going back to poaching players Liverpool are trying to sign.
