Greasyman, mbappe......

2 CL finals in a row, a proper title challenge and a squad with much of it entering its peak years, professional footballers are not THAT stupid that they cant see a team that looks to be set for serial trophy winners.

Only 2 seasons ago mbappe etc mentioned in regard to joining liverpool would have been unthinkable, not now, not now at all. Klopp has come out saying of course liverpool will spend, we cant afford not too....and that should be frightening for the rest of Europe!

Whether mbappe comes or not is not the point, the point is THAT calibre of player WILL be coming, world class talent to join a world class club......the start of something special? ?

“Worlds most expensive GK”
Wrong Busby..

“Worlds most expensive defender”
And he would be again if sold now

“2x CM's worth £100m”
Given that he sold one midfielder for £140m, what else should he do with the money?

Facking mancs going crazy about 6th

When did klopp say he never wants to spend any money at all? Do you mean he said he doesn't want it to be only about buying players in every position for massive fees
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Other clubs can go out and spend more money and collect top players, yes,”

"Do I have to do it differently to that? Actually, I want to do it differently. I would even do it differently if I could spend that money."

Worlds most expensive defender
Worlds most expensive GK
2x CM's worth £100m.
£100m on attackers

I don't think anybody can question the decisions made, they are justified by the performances and results.

He is however, a hypocrite
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Context is key.
Soon as Neymar and Mbappe moved the market changed. Liverpool spent within their means to buy players they needed.
I don't think many people would argue losing Suarez and Coutinho seemed like Pool would have a bad patch. To strengthen as they have is pretty impressive.
Klopps point I feel was they won't spend for the sake of spending and all the signings look shrew investments now.
Klopp has added insane value to the squad.
The fact that I'm reading Leicester want 80 million for an average CB, and the fact they just won the CL, shows they didn't do much wrong Imo
They hardly did a Leeds and spent what they didn't have

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we don't buy anyone this summer. Neither has Jurgen 'sold his position down the river'.

All we need is back-up for now. My view is that we need to be promoting from within. There's lots and lots of youth talent in the club, all itching I'm sure to get a crack at the first squad, and hopefully that's where Jurgen's first port of call will be.

I'd be gutted if that happened, would just be resting on our laurels

They did have a bad patch after they sold Suarez.

They fell to 6th, 8th and needed a season out of Europe to claim back 4th.

Great times ahead for Liverpool and 6x big ears in the bag!!!!!!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As has been explained to you before, they were unable to spend this sort of money in the beginning due to FFP and poor income. They sorted the income side out which enabled us to invest better. They haven't changed their principles, they've stuck by the plan and are now reaping the rewards.

And I explained in my post we would have been better buying fewer more expensive players while the financial situation was being sorted. We went for quantity and not enough quality. That summer when Suarez was sold for instance.

No. We went for quality, ie Sanchez to replace Suarez. He chose Arsenal instead. It was more difficult to buy quality then as we had been out of the CL for a while. Players preferred other clubs. Die to the plan the owners out in place we are now reaping the rewards and therefore the people who were patient can feel their patience was justified and the people who spat their dummies out can feel very silly indeed.

Not sure why the insults are necessary, I don’t feel the need to do it to you. That’s life I guess.

90% of your success is down to Klopp. I envy you, as I said when you got him. I said you had a modern Shanks, and so it has proved.

Klopp builds massive affinity with all connected to the club. He's just facking ace.
