Would be more like 40-45 million with the United Premium. He's also a huge Celt, so wouldn't be forcing the move. Would be surprised if Arsenal could get him at such a good price tbh

Yup, if English he’d be up there at 60m I would think. Great potential, versatile, intelligent can defend and attack. Utter steal at 25m, I know it’s a good part of ole’s budget that could be spent on positions that we need to strengthen more, but it’s pocket change for Ed. Perhaps if Ed has a Tesco sandwich one lunchtime instead of his usual then he can use what he saved of his lunch money to buy him.

I don’t want him going anywhere but the lure of being in the PL with a top league and club and the undoubtedly far superior structure behind him could be a too good an opportunity to miss for him. If he goes then I wish him well as a product of our youth system just making the most of his career and making us a sizeable fee into the bargain.

Anything less than £25m is an absolute steal and Ill be giving it pelters at Lawwell and his cronies if they allow him to leave for Arsenal at anything less. That would be downright bad judgement and management.

I only hope Arsenal’s meagre purse strings and the thought of having to part with over half of their kitty for an “unknown” proves too much for them.

About half of it as our wonderful coaching staff panted him for practically 3 seasons non stop with an average of 62 games a season and through obvious injuries.

Wonderful.

He’s had his surgery and is recovering. Think he’s back in training in a couple of weeks.
