If the entire ball needs to be over the line to be a goal or to be out of play for a corner or throw in, should it be that a player's entire body is beyond the last player for him or her to be considered offside...?

I remember I thought I was onside when through on goal but I had got so excited about the thought of being through on goal that my gentleman's sausage was offside as it had become extended. It was the only part of me offside but the ref said I was a long way offside so I was happy with that.

The same thing would happen as is happening now, no matter what the rule is people will still argue over small margins

if the whole of the ball isnt over its no goal if the all the body parts you are allowed to score with arent offside its not offside why does it need changing? If the ball is over the line its a goal if an attacking players body part theyre allowed to score with is offside hes offside. Nothing wrong with it and VAR/goal line technology work to get the right calls.

They should play on but only be able to touch the ball with parts which were onside when the ball was passed

Removing his gentleman haggis from the game would remove a key element, like crouch with no legs
